Ok so Season 8 started this last week and I have yet to watch it. I've been busy with illness and children. Here's the thing. Last night I had a wonderful Deathiest Catch Dream.
I can't remember all the details but it was great.
So Shannon and I were walking around the mall looking at stuff in Hot Topic. We then go to the habor and were asked to join the DC crew......of the Time Bandit!
That's right girls. We were the only girls on the Time Bandit that actually was on the boat for WORK not other things..lol.
So mostly (as I remember) Shannon and I weren't even in rain suits! We were in jeans and t-shirt (not white) and in heels! We did our jobs and I can't remember which one of us went off on Jonathan about how we were there to work not to be his whores. My subconscious, however, had me in Scotty's interested eye.
The last thing I remember is we were fighting to get a pot up in the middle of a storm....it was so much fun.
Ok. Sorry there aren't many details but I'm good about forgetting dreams almost as soon as I wake up but I just felt like I had to share it.

12 years in the making
So I know Shannon said we're closing the blog down because all we were doing was Hump Day pictures but something special is here and I had to share it.
Today marks the 12th anniversary of Shannon and me meeting!! I can still remember the day:
It was lunch time on August 15, 1999 (around 11:30 and noon) and we all had B lunch...which means we had lunch between 3rd period. Well Me and my friends went to sit at our table at lunch but this day I was crying. See my boyfriend of over a year broke up with me because I just turned 18 and he was still 17 and his parents were gonna have me arrested if he didnt break up with me. Anyways, I felt this tapping on my arm and I turned to see this little girl (yes little, she's short) with CURLY poofy hair asking me if I was ok. Now get this....I didnt know who she was and we had class together! Now after she asked I felt a little better but I was still hurt.
We went back to class and instead of listening to the teacher (which hardly anyone did anyways) I wrote this girl a note thanking her for being so nice. She wrote me back saying you're welcome and she hated seeing people crying.
THAT is how I meet Shannon Lanphier. She's been my best friend for 12 years now. We've had our moments were we didnt talk (mostly because of guys) but we've been there for each other for everything. I was her maid of honor at her wedding. I was the first person she told she was pregnant with Logan. And I helped her during the hard times of this ugly divorce.
She has been my foundation for everything. Even though sometimes it seems like I dont appreciate the things she does for me, I do! I dont know how many times she's pulled me out the dark wholes I get myself in and she's helped me see the light of things. She is my partner in crime and I love everything about her.
To my darling Shannon, I love you and please stay the way you are with me. I know I can piss you off and do stupid things but you still find it in you to love me no matter what.
Happy Anniversary Shannon!

....The End
With Season 7 ending last night of Deadliest Catch, Aidin and I came to a decision on something we've both been pondering for a while: What Do We Do With The Blog?
Right now, the blog is a place to house Hump Day pictures. This was never my intention for this blog, but alas, that's what it has become. Aidin and I both have a lot on our plates right at the moment, and its hard to sit down to write anything meaningful about Deadliest Catch, except, well, its been a season full of drama (I caught myself thinking last night that the Behind the Scenes of Season 7 was the best episode of the entire season. Sad right?). And drama is something Aidin and I both try to avoid at all costs.
So with heavy hearts, we announce the closure of The Blog. Now, rest assured, we aren't going anywhere. The FB page has become the hub of all of our activity anyway, and we will continue to post Hump Day pictures, links to articles, and different things we come across that we believe might interest you about Deadliest Catch and the fishing world in general.
So this is it. The End. We appreciate your support of the blog and all that it has ever entailed. We love you!
